Sunday 18th saw a good few Phoenix jerseys on this tour of the “Hertfordshire Alps”. Club riders tackled both the 50km and 100km routes, with a few navigational challenges meaning perhaps not everyone did exactly the ride they had been planning! No photos unfortunately, so you will just have to conjure up a mental image of us gritting our teeth up as we take on yet another one of those Newgate Street climbs…

Three London Phoenix members – Evelyn Heinback , Pete Richardson and Richard Marston – tackled the Kingston Phoenix reliability ride on Saturday 17 February. Starting at the bottom of Box Hill, they covered 50 very hilly kilometres of Surrey ending with a climb up Box Hill.
