Both of the riders above own Cervelos. Both have had a series of great results while racing this season. Both were caught on camera while taking part in the Dragon this weekend (a 190km romp through glorious Wales). Luckily the genuine Phoenix kit makes it possible for the discerning reader to distinguish Matthew Harper from top European Pro Dan Lloyd.

Getting to ride along with Dan Lloyd (very briefly!) was just one of the treats that came our way. Glorious weather, a fantastic route and a really great atmosphere made this a sportive to remember, and we worked hard with friends from the London Road Club and Dulwich Paragon to keep the momentum going. We ended up placing 6 riders in the first 100 finishers, from 1600 who attempted the distance. First in was our Cyclo-Cross coordinator Neil Simpson, who came in 28th overall with a time of just over 6 hours, but the truth is everyone did great on this seriously challenging sportive.
