Sarah Strong’s account of the 175km Paris-Roubaix sportive in June

Most of our group had chosen to do the 175km ride (all the fun of the cobbles without the boring road bits beforehand!). By the time we arrived for the sign-on at Bohain it was about 7-7.30am and we set off together to shouts of ‘bon route!’ from the marshals. A rather overcast morning, and with a distinct freshness to it which was pleasant cycling weather.
