You racing then Stan?
"Attending the event" would be more accurate than "race". I don't want to be the odd one out / obstacle / focus of any complaints in an event we are responsible for managing, so maybe not.

Good stuff. We've just hit 270 entries so we're now officially bigger than either of the races in September. At the moment the Women/V50 race is winning with 70 entries. Looking forward to it!

Your instruction for course builders to bring a tape measure has convinced me. I've now entered the race.
It's also good that there'll be a few Phoenix women on the start line.
I will be a bit rusty and hope we get the course built before it gets dark so that I can practise on the Saturday.

With the number of people we've got, I think it'll go up pretty quickly. You may not be the only one bringing your bike!

Great you've signed up. Next target - former CX sec Newman.

I've got a cold now so am unlikely to race on Sunday. It was worthwhile entering though just to get a copy of the programme (not shortage of photos of Mr Drew) emailed by the race organiser.

I hope I'll be healthy enough to help build the course tomorrow...

I'll be signing autographs from 11am on race day by my motorhome

But apologies for that. It took a while to pull together and I needed photos of a certain shape. Obviously I have lots of me but tend not to keep a library of Damian and Pat photos

Dearest course builders - how muddy do you think it might be tomorrow? I have Challenge Grifo (usually just default to these because I'm lazy) or Specialized Terra (just in case it's really muddy).

Kisses,

Michelle

I was there this morning Michelle and ground is soft but not that muddy at all. Right windy...

It's really muddy. Properly. I wouldn't touch a pair of grifos for this. Bring the muddiest mud tyre you've got unless you like running!
