Congratulations to CX Champion Matt Webber on yet another victory!
This was cross at its best(!?) – pile-ups on the snowy field straight after the start and sliding around on icy mud in the woods. As well as Matt’s fantastic ride, the Phoenix Black team took 2nd place and Chris Dick placed a decent 10th. Our borrowed woman, Tabitha Rendall, had a cracking ride. For Annabel and Astrid (who both rode very well) the race turned into a bit of a crashfest after good starts managing to avoid the mayhem. With someone reporting 37 crashes in just one lap a big well done to everyone who rode! What a way to end the season.
