Right, it’s time for Supercross! This year, taking place on a SATURDAY, 25th October.

As previously, Rapha have asked for LP’s assistance to run the event and add some credibility. We’re looking for 30 (or more) volunteers to help build the course and marshal throughout the day. For this, you get to watch a full day of cyclocross with Elite racing through to Novices and U10 kids. You’ll also get a £50 Rapha voucher, a Supercross cap and sandwiches/drinks. I imagine we’ll also finish the day in the Victoria Stakes pub where I’m sure we can persuade the Club Treasurer (or Rapha) to buy us a few beers. In a nutshell it’s great fun and you should come.

Timings are broadly the same as Gunpowder Park so we’ll be course building from 8am and are likely to be wrapped up around 5pm. As stated elsewhere, unlike the League promotion, anyone who wants to race should do so. It would be great if you can help but I appreciate this is a bit different and so please do race if you can get an entry. As for the rest of us, who is in? Volunteer list below…
