Well done Damian too on your 18th place on Saturday ;-) Still, at least you got that - I didn't even register a DNF!

Ha, ha! And I didn't even get muddy. Err, well done Dan! That's about your best result yet eh? And the first time you've avoided being lapped! I may be coming down with a cold - so unable to attend Abergavenny. If someone could 'sort of' take my place but record an 18th place there, I'd be grateful! On the other hand, I'm not out yet!!

Was going to do Ipswich next Sunday but Letchworth is tantalisingly close . Any views on course .

I got an email from British Cycling today saying that the venue - Standalone Farm - is new.
Weather forecast is looking cold with snow the day before.

With Rnd 9 rankings published I can relax and have a day off. :)
I can't be caught and anything less than a win would reduce my average points. So good luck everyone tomorrow wherever you may be racing, but I'm hanging up the tubs for this season.

Hoorah, and phew! Having been persuaded by Molly to go to Ipswich, I feel less guilty about not being there to spray you with beer and give you a cheer. Enjoy your lie in 8)
