Nah - gravel is just old style bikes. I just bought one for commuting. As best I can tell it's what they used to sell as a winter hack. Has mudguard and rack mounts.

Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's nothing new.

Looking at Cannondale SuperX just waiting to hear what discount I can get (maybe at trade). Any alternative thoughts? I won't do wiggly follow the tape jumping on and off bruising my legs getting muddy nonsense (Aka Cross racing) but do fancy these long distance forest/gravel track adventure course/races.

I blame Will B. He described Dirty Reiver as "Epic" in the pub the other night. I just can not hear that word without getting carried away. Those 4 letters equate to a 4 digit spend.

Has Will even ridden the DR yet? ;-)

You'll be wanting to get clicky on 1st January too for Battle on the Beach - another epic, fantastic event.
