London League - Volunteers needed September 16/17

Hi all,

Together with Brixton Cycles, we will be organising round 2 of the 2017/19 London CX League. The race will take place on Sunday 17 September 2017 at Herne Hill Velodrome. We will need volunteers to run this event, so please put the date in your diaries.

We will set the course on Saturday afternoon and will need a small number of people for that. But we will needs as many of you as possible for marshalling, lap scoring etc. on Sunday all day.

List time, put yourselves down below!

I'm heading back from Girona on Friday but can leave slightly early to help out on Saturday.

Can also help Sunday morning but I DO want to race!

Chris is actually proof that it is working.

I know there are people who don't bother coming on the forum who also will sign up and help from using the Facebook group.

If anyone has any better ideas on how we can get more people involved in our club as well as getting them helping beyond using the biggest platform for social interaction then please make an effort to come to the next club meeting and let us know your thoughts in person rather than dropping hints from behind your keyboard.

Folks, we'll need a few more people to run this event, in particular if people also want to race (or not stand around in the wilderness all day).

We need people for sign-on, scoring, marshalling and catering (BBQ and cake stall). Usually nice weather and good atmosphere, and this year with beer on tap.

Anyone?
