Ooh, Hog Hill on the 6th sounds appealing - much better than driving 2hrs to Surrey for a MTB event!

Jack, December 9 in the London League at Addington would be one for you, too. Only one hour of driving towards Surrey...

Ah, bummer. Bring them along. And give them a bike. Worked for me (although now I’m no longer allowed to skip a race and stay home, there are downsides, too).

Excellent. Been waiting to see how she gets on in an actual race.

Haha! Defo! Great thing about starting at the back is you can only overtake...or be lapped! :P

Right, so I'm doing the London South East Cyclo Cross League race at Redbridge on Sunday - subject to the cold brewing in my nose (sigh). My V40 race is at 11:50 but I'm not sure what time course pre-riding can be done. Could anyone (Chris - cough cough) offer up any info? Could I pre-ride on Saturday morning?

I'm out. Dylans Birthday Go Karting was 1/2 the price on Sunday than it was Saturday.

Course will be open from about 9am on Sunday. Not sure if the guys are building it on Saturday, but somebody hammering around it whilst it’s being built probably wouldn’t be too popular...

Bring your climbing legs as it’s Hog Hill. Though you know that already.

Final round of Eastern League tomorrow so I was paying particular attention to my bikes after the rear mech stated to hang in the mud of the World Horse Welfare Centre last weekend. Bikes cleaned on the day and then re-cleaned & siliconed today, yet still rear mech was draggy. So took it apart, only to find it had been trying imitate traditional soft furnishing by being stuffed full of horse's hair. So that's now my excuse for a P. Poor performance last weekend.
