Badlands Gravelcross Sportive 18 November

Post by andrewnewman » Sat Nov 03, 2018 2:35 pm

I'm thinking of doing this. 75KM in the Chilterns, starting in Princes Risborough. Anyone else up for it?

I don't actually have a gravel bike, but I have it on reliable authority that a cross bike will do.

I could be. I actually have a road orientated gravel bike, and an MTB hardtail to ride. Choices choices...

Sounds damn good fun, but I don't have a car so wouldn't make the registration or start. Trains don't arrive early enough

I'll likely take a ZipCar from Crouch End. We can usually stack two bikes in the back, so let me know if you want to split the cost.

Sounds like a hybrid. Does it have a basket and a bell?

That works with me Andrew, I'm Palmer's green so easy enough to go to and from. I'll bring a 26" hardtail MTB I have, with CX tyres it eats up terrain, albeit a little heavy. It's with semi road gearing so should smash it up. I take it we're talking the 70k route?

Sounds good. I'll PM you as the date approaches and we can sort out the details. And yes, I've signed up for the long route.
