Just back from France. need to get sorted for this, including getting a light...

Likely travel down Friday evening.

Damien - Might make sense to share? I've got a roof rack on my car if that helps.

I'm coming down sat.

Having some brake issues currently... a little too much friction for my liking!

Will- I have two big lights to bring (one Chinese and one non-Chinese), if you dont find one we can always share.

I've packed my car with everything I own practically, I didn't need the roof bars. However, I then looked at the weather. If you haven't yet, don't.

I would have offered a lift but I'm staying overnight Sunday as I didn't fancy a direct 5h drive home after no sleep and riding for 24 hours and detouring on the way home.

See you all there.

Guys sorry about this but I've had a bit of a stack in the forest nothing dramatic just burped some air out of my rear tyre in some ruts chasing Strava segments but I smacked my shoulder into a tree right on my collar bone /ac joint - don't think I've broken anything or popped the ac joint but it's jarred/twisted my shoulder pretty badly. I've got a metal plate on that collarbone already so I think that's why it didn't break but I think cos the bone didn't break the force has gone right through my body - I was still sat on the bike when I hit it and it's bent the nose of my saddle down about 45 degrees! Can't really pull on that arm at the moment. On the plus side I'm heading down anyway cos we're meant to be meeting friends so it might feel o.k after a couple of days of painkillers but I thought I better let you know in case it stiffens up more. Stupid a couple of days before a race. Anyway see how it goes :(

Not got anyone's numbers. Mine's 07976625802 - first one there just needs to grab a spot that we can all park in and set up awnings/gazebos etc. see you later

Crikey. I hope that's ok Simon. Rules are you need to do one lap, or maybe someone can carry your timing chip thought the start / finish.

Either way i forgot to mention despite several emails I've had no replay with regards to changing Jacks
name to yours. Maybe look for jacks name on Sign on just in case of yours isn't there.

Just finished a batch of flapjacks.

Hope the pain settles Simon!

If I can be saved a small tent/car space for saturday that would be ideal.

Im on 07981251099. Let me know if anything is forgotten and I can try and bring a spare down with me if I have it.

Good luck guys. I'm crocked. Think I'm gonna have to get an x ray check it out it's very sore. Looks like good weather for you tomorrow anyway all day so that's lucky but hope you still enjoy it one man down. I've done it with three cos someone crashed and it's not a lot different to four tbh and Will is like having an extra man I reckon. He should be able to do the first 12 without noticing! Joking aside I'm pretty depressed and sorry to dump you in it so hope you have a good one. All the best guys!
