Personal request for Volunteers - 25/26 Feb '17

Hi

First of all this is a personal request from me that is not sanctioned by the LP committee; this is not an event that LP have committed to resourcing. If you are considering volunteering for the club at another Road, CX, TT or MTB event and think you might do this in leiu of that - please don't, the club needs you to help fulfil its agreed committments.

To that end, Mud Sweat & Gears (MTB Eastern League) have ask me to help marshal the first round of the series at Lee Valley Velopark in February. This consists of course creation on Saturday 25th and/or marshalling/take down on Sunday 26th. I'll be there both days as I'm working with MSG to mentor me through MTB race organisation.

I'd be grateful for any help inside or outside the club (so please pass this message on), but please remember your primary volunteer committment is to LP sanctioned events - this an additonal ask from me as a favor to the sport.

Hi all

I've about 3 weeks before I have to let MSG know how many we are offering, so I need ot form a list. A few have said "off forum" that they may be able to help but I'd very much appreciate if we can establish a list. Even if you can only spare a couple of hours during the day it'd be useful.

Please remember this shuld not replace your LP volunteering.

Just a bump for this, and to ask is there anybody else that could possibly help out even for part of the time on either day? At the moment we have me both days and Jack on Sunday.

Hi Jack

Matt has asked that if we can be there for 8am, he can use us for the morning and let us go for Practise/the Vets race. If you want to hang around after that it's your call, find Matt Ewings and he'll give you a task to do. They are looking for help with course takedown.
