XCM stage race in Spain

I can recommend the Vuelta Anadalucia MTB race that takes place in Andalucia in a couple of weeks time - short notice but still time to sign-up for a long weekend in- and around Marbella where 2/4 stages take place. The other two stages are within easy reach from Marbella in the Cadiz region- 1-2h drive from Marbella. I did 2/4 stages three years ago but had to abandon due to crashes - tyre choice is essential...plenty of loose-on-hard

- 16-19.5
- Very high-level of racers
- Extremely well-organised
- Marbella area would be an ideal base
