Maratona

As one of the biggest races in Italy with over 9,000 riders participating, the Maratona has few peers. The course covers 139km and 4,200m of climbing, through stunning Dolomites scenery, including the famous Passo Giao frequently featured in the Giro d’Italia. 11 riders from London Phoenix were there with Tim Boole coming in under the 6 hour mark (beating Miguel Indurain in the process) and Paul O’Sullivan, Neal MacKintosh and Chris Clarke all making it within 6 hours 30 minutes.
