This weekend saw Phoenix off-road maestro Joss Miller take his first win at ‘Mud, Sweat and Gears’ – part of the Essex Mountain Bike Series, and become a media sensation in the process…

Joss said: “It was a small but really well organized event. The course was bone dry & fast with a good mix of single track, open trails and some bomb holes to keep you on your toes. After lap 3 I went clear of the field and never looked back. Thankfully the weather was kind, apart from 1 heavy rain shower mid race but that was more refreshing than anything else.”
