London Phoenix recently enjoyed riding along black volcanic sandy tracks, down dried out stream beds and climbing up out of steep barrancos or valleys in Gran Canaria. We’ve been riding up stony farm tracks and then having to carry our bikes when the track ends and turns into a hiking paths. Descending through the mist from 1800m altitude through wooded valleys and steep slippy farm tracks. Peering down into craters only recently dormant but with farms in the bottom.
