London Phoenix is proud to be one of the founding clubs supporting the new London Women’s Cycle Racing League. Designed to encourage greater participation from women at all levels of road racing, the league in 2010 – sponsored by look mum no hands!– consists of a variety of different events including road, circuit, criterium races and CTT time trials. Events run from March to August, and points are awarded for individual and team performances.

We run women’s rides every month, and non-members are very welcome to come along to get a feel for what the club’s like. If you’re considering having a go at racing, these social rides are a great opportunity to have a chat about it with racers from our club. There’s no limit to the number of riders in a team, so whatever level you’re racing at, from complete novice to Elite, you’d be welcome in the London Phoenix team.
