The final race of the 2010/2011 cross season saw LP’er Matthew Webber storm to 3rd spot after a gruelling and close fought battle with Arctic Premier’s deadly duo of Alec Briggs & Matt Holmes. The incredibly windy conditions saw the field strung out within the first few laps, but Matt looked strong and comfortable throughout, and it was only in the closing laps that the elastic finally snapped under the pressure of constant attacks from Arctic. Well done Matt – we’re all looking forward to seeing ride a full season of cross next year, and well done to Stuart Lockyear (and everyone else) for having an equally strong end to the 2010-2011 campaign.
